Hospitality Pitch Deck Competition
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, September 19th
The Hospitality Pitch Deck Competition (PDC) is an experiential learning opportunity for student entrepreneurs who are contemplating, starting, or operating an early stage hospitality-based venture, and who are looking to improve their pitching skills, with the potential to earn seed funding for their venture. Students register for the competition in early fall and submit their pitch decks in October for review by a team of industry judges. Four finalists will be selected to present in November to a panel of industry judges. The cash prizes are: winning team, $3,000, second place team, $1,500, and third place, $500. Questions? Marla and Barry ILR ’90 Beck Entrepreneurship Fellows Program
Application Deadline: September 30, 2018
Summer funding up to $5,000 is provided to students who wish to spend a summer pursuing their entrepreneurial ideas free from the concern of supporting themselves in a traditional paid job setting. Successful applicants will show a demonstrated interest and involvement in entrepreneurship activity at Cornell. Along with their entrepreneurial activities, selected Beck Fellows will exhibit academic excellence. Preference may be given to those students who are pursuing an entrepreneurship minor, involved with Cornell’s eLab program, the Blackstone LaunchPad, Life Changing Labs, Student Agencies, Inc., and/or currently working with other mentors
